Buzz Aldrin

Buzz Aldrin became famous when the largest TV viewing audience in history – an estimated 600 million people – watched him and Neil Armstrong land on the surface of the Moon in July 1969.

He was part of a team that realised a truly amazing technological feat, beyond what ordinary folk thought possible.
